PURPOSE:To obtain a battery whose characteristic is kept stable for a long time by bonding a metallic thin plate to the inside of a builtup sealing plate with a bonding agent of a specified coefficient of moisture permeability. CONSTITUTION:A battery container 1 to which a collector lead 2 of a metallic lithium that is a negative electrode active material in a group of plates is welded inside works also as a negative electrode terminal. And a builtup sealing plate B is composed of a lower case 3 in which a valve hole 3a is bored at the center of the bottom inside a horizontal plane 3c of a second flute, and a metallic thin plate 4 which is adhesively fixed to a horizontal plane 3c of a first flute with an organic electrolyte resistance bonding agent C in which a coefficient of moisture permeability is 20g.cm/cm<2>.sec.cmHgX10<13> or less is arranged, and a cap 5 which has a vent hole 5a in a convex part 5b, whose periphery 5c is fabricated in a flat. The opening 3d of the lower case 3 being bent inside with a gold mold, the periphery of the cap 5 and the metallic thin plate 4 are caulkingly stabilized together. Permeation of water in outside air can thus be prevented for a long time, thereby a battery with a stable characteristic can be obtained. |
