PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of scumming and to provide excellent plate wear by incorporating a resin having a functional group to form a specific group into a binder resin of an image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:The binder of the image receiving layer of the direct drawing type master plate for planographic printing having the image receiving layer on a base is the resin contg. at least one kind of the functional groups forming at least one group among a thiol group, phosphono group, amino group and sulfo group by decomposition; in addition, a crosslinking agent coexists therein. This resin includes the resin which are decomposed to form the thiol group, phosphono group, amino group or sulfo group by irradiation of active rays. The active rays to be used are preferably the light having the wavelength in a 200-900nm range and the light sources thereof include, for example, a mercury lamp, metal halide lamp, xenon lamp, etc. The sharp image having no fogging is obtd. in this way. |
