PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp superior image small in image stains, such as black microspots and background stains, by forming an electric charge transfer layer containing a specified butadiene derivative and a specified polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer contains one of the butadiene derivatives represented by formula I in which each of R1-R4 is optionally substituted 1-9 C alkyl each of R5 and R6 is H, 1-9 C alkyl, 1-4 C alkoxy, or amino substituted by 1-9 C alkyl; and each of R7-R10 is H, OH, or CN, and one of the polycarbonate resin having an weight average molecular weight of, preferably, 15,000-70,000 and repeating units each represented by formula II in which R11 is 2-8 C optionally substituted alkyl, and each of m and n is a positive integer, thus permitting superior images small in black microspots and background stains to be obtained. |
