PURPOSE:To keep the integrality of knowledge as well as the propriety, the consistency and the uniformity of knowledge by using a rule having the same knowledge as a decided even to estimate a primary independent even and to secure the adaptation to execution of the inference in case a primary independent event and a rule having reference to this event exist together. CONSTITUTION:The optional relations are produced between the events A, B and C as well as between A and B in case such a rule exists that C is satisfied as long as the events A, B and C, and the events A and B exist together. If the event A is equal to a primary event which lacks a deciding means and the degree related to the contents of the events B and C is known, this degree is allocated to the relation between rules and collated with the connecting relation of the rules. In other words, a specific degree of the event is estimated so that the event A satisfies the relation between the degree of each event and the connecting relation of rules against the connecting relation between the rules and the events B and C respectively. The exactly same operation is carried out also in case the event B is equal to a primary event lacking a deciding means. As a result, the normal inference and estimation are attained with use of the same knowledge. Then it is possible to avoid the unintegrality of knowledge due to the avoidance and rejection of knowledge.
