PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material which has excellent recording sensitivity as well as not to deteriorate the quality of a coloring image in an aging manner with high whiteness by incorporating 4-hydroxy-4'- isoproxydiphenylsulfone as a colorant and acenaphtene as a heat fusible substance in a heat sensitive coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxydiphenolsulfone and acenaphthene are mixed in coating solution when the coating solution for forming a heat sensitive coloring layer is prepared. Basic dye and colorant 4-hydroxy-4'- isopropoxydiphenylsulfone are normally so mixed with 100pts.wt. of basic paint that the colorant becomes 100 to 700pts.wt. The acenaphthene is added at the ratio of 10 to 1,000pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of the colorant. If it is 10pts.wt. or less, sufficient dye and colorant to form sufficient color density cannot be dissolved, and desired high sensitivity cannot be obtained. Reversely, if it exceeds 1,000pts.wt., adding amounts of the dye and the colorant are relatively limited, and sufficient color density is scarcely formed, and desired high sensitivity cannot be obtained. |
