PURPOSE:To prevent a battery from running down, by a method wherein, in an antomatic-stop and start controller, it is released from an automatic-operation when the charged quantity of the battery reduces to lower than a given value, and it is brought to restore to the automatic-operation when an integrated value of an opening time of a throttle valve from a current point of time attains a given value. CONSTITUTION:A starting motor is run when a signal S12 is brought to ''H'', and if a battery voltage VB reduces to lower than VC, an AND circuit 48 outputs a signal S17 which is brough to ''H'' for a given time set by a timer 40, and when a switch 43 is closed, the signal, simultaneously, produces signals S18 and S19 which delay by a minute time in delay circuits 41 and 42. An integrator 44 set by the signal S19 integrates the battery voltage VB, and if an integrated value VD is below a reference value V1, ''L'' is stored in a memory circuit 46 when a signal 18 inputs. An automatic-stop is prohibitted by means of an output S0. Meanwhile, a counter 53 is set by means of the signal S0, ON of a throttle valve switch 49 by an opening state is integrated at each pulse of an oscillator 51, and if the result attains a given value, by deciding that a charging quantity of the battery attains a given value, the memory circuit 46 is rewritten to ''H'' to bring it to restore to the automatic-stop and start controlling condition. |
