PURPOSE:To manufacture a trim finished into a suede in its designed rubber surface in an excellent productivity by molding a trim main body with the vulcanized substance of an ethylene propylene rubber composite, and extruding and vulcanizing integrally a separating rubber layer consisting of a rubber material incompatible to the ethylene propylene rubber on the designed rubber surface of the trim main body, after that, tearing off the separating rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:A weatherstrip main body is extrusion-molded, which is formed with a trim part 1A consisting of the vulcanized substance of an ethylene propylene rubber composite and a hollow seal part 6 consisting of a sponge rubber. At this time, the designed rubber surface D of the trim part 1A is cov ered with a separating rubber layer 11 consisting of a sponge rubber material incompatible to the EPR. Here, the combination of the rubber material of the designed rubber surface and the separation rubber layer is of a sponge rubber / solid rubber or sponge rubber / sponge rubber. Next, peeling off the separating rubber layer 11, the designed rubber surface D becomes a suede like appearance. In this manner, a trim can be obtained without polluting the work environment and in an excellent productivity. |
