A sole plate for attachment to the upper surface of a ski is preferably moulded from a plastics material, and comprises recesses on its undersurface for the location therein of other ski binding components, whereby the said other components are located securely in place when the sole plate is mounted on the ski. As illustrated in Fig. 1 the plate 1 comprises recesses 8 to receive plates 10 having guide hooks 9, 11 for the binding cable 6, and also two grooves 2 for selective engagement by the front loop of the binding cable. As illustrated in Fig. 4, the plates 10 are replaced by a single plate 10' which is adjustable along the length of the sole plate, and the latter comprises a further recess to receive an adjustable anchorage plate 18 for the binding cable. The plates 10, 10' and 18 are preferably metallic. |
