PURPOSE:To enable the keyboard musical instrument to be used as a desk by transmitting the rotation of the top lid of the instrument to a keyboard unit through a coupling mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The top lid when closed is the flat surface plate of a base body. When its front end is lifted and rotated around a hinge 29, the keyboard 15 is lifted through a link 23 and a float 31 is lowered by a link 39. The keyboard 15 rotates upward around a shaft 17 associatively with the lid 25 and raised outside the base body 19. While the keyboard is raised, keyboards 11 and 13 are at height suitable for playing. The lid is closed by lifting and rotating the front end of the lid counterclockwise. The float 31 moves up and the rear end of the keyboard 15 is drawn down. The keyboard 15 rotates downward through the link 39 and the top lid 25 rotates. The link 23 controls the track and the lid 25 rotates downward to in front of a player to cover the keyboard 15 from above. |
