摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of pins provided for a connector to electrically connect a memory and a camera main body by multiplexing a digitized signal and after that, storing the multiplexed digitized signal in the memory. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal Y inputted to an A/D converter 17a and color difference signals R-Y and B-Y inputted to A/D converters 17b and 17c are respectively converted into 8-bit digital values. Next, the 8-bit digital values are respectively and temporarily stored in FIFO memories 18a-18c, and the respective signals are successively read, multiplexed, and outputted to a connector 21 by a clock pulse outputted from a signal generating circuit 19. Thus, a camera main body 10 and the connector 21 can be connected with 8 signal lines (in the case of 8 bits), and the number of the pins can be drastically reduced.
