PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic obtained by blending cholesteryl sulfate or salts thereof with a cosmetic base at a specific amount and useful in protection of hair and prevention and repair of branch hair. CONSTITUTION:The hair cosmetic obtained by blending cholesteryl sulfate or salts thereof with a base of a cosmetic singly or as two or more kind of mixture at amounts of 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.01-4wt.% based on total base of the cosmetic and capable of giving moistness to hair because of having excellent water content retention and simultaneously having effect to prevention of acquired injury of hair as well as repair thereof and free from care concerning safeness also in the case of long-term continuous use. |
