PURPOSE:To obtain a lens position controller with simple mechanism by providing a control means which moves a 2nd lens group in such a direction that an image becomes out of focus in a specific direction at the time of power variation from a wide side to a telephoto side. CONSTITUTION:When a main SW 142 is turned on, a power-on reset circuit 143 resets the 0 address of a stepping motor 12. When switches T and W of a zooming operation detection part 141 are operated, their signals are sent to a CPU 130, a stepping motor driving pulse counting circuit 136 counts how main pulses correspond to the position of the stepping motor 12 from the 0 reset position and sends the result to the CPU 130. The CPU 130 determines the moving direction and speed of the stepping motor 112 for driving a lens group 4B according to read contents and blur information read in from an AF device 135, determines the driving direction of a variator lens driving motor 140 according to the operation results of the zoom switches T and W, and outputs signals to a stepping motor driving pulse output circuit 137 and a zoom motor driver 139 so that the two motors operate almost at the same time. |
