PURPOSE:To release a starting delay and generation of an abnormal input by a method wherein, after changing from a neutral to traveling range, if the starting condition satisfies a predetermined condition, an opening/closing valve in a bypass passage of a fixed orifice is opened and, if not, the valve is closed. CONSTITUTION:After changing a neutral range into a traveling range, an opening/closing valve controller means 7 opens an opening/closing valve 6 in a bypass passage 5, in the case that engine speed is low and an oil temperature is low, so as to supply an oil pressure to a starting frictional element 1 through an accumulator 4. Meanwhile, when the starting condition is out of the predetermined condition, the opening/closing valve 6 is closed so as to supply the oil pressure to the starting frictional element 1 through a fixed orifice 3, working oil passage 2 and the accumulator 4. Thus, it is possible to eliminate the starting delay and prevent generation of an abnormal input in the case of an accelerating operation in the same time when the range is changed over. |
