CAMERA AND ITS PICTURE REPRODUCING PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To form a small sized and light weight camera by coupling a picture reproducing processor to a camera at reproduction freely removably and controlling a function section including a magnetic recording and reproducing section in a camera from the side of the processor. CONSTITUTION:A connector plug 22 of a picture reproducing processor 20 is retracted from a connector containing recess 33 at first in the connection of the picture reproduction processor 20 to a camera 1 electrically in case of reproducing a recorded picture of a video disk 10 picked up by the camera 1 or the recorded picture of other video disk loaded to the camera 1. Then the plug is plugged into a connector jack in a connector opening 8 exposed after an open cover 7 being a main switch operating member of a rear face 1x of the camera 1 is opened. Thus, a sub CPU in the picture reproduction processor 20 controls the function section including a magnetic recording and reproducing section such as a head access mechanism in the camera 1.
