The invention relates to a fire-retarding, sound-damping door, composed of a door frame which is designed as a clamping frame assembled from hinge-attachment frame and mating frame, and of a door leaf which is assembled from two door-leaf half shells, said door being intended for installation into lightweight, fire-retarding walls and being suitable, in particular, for use in the living quarters on ships.
