Sleeve for a branching or connecting location of cables

A description is given of a re-openable cable sleeve which comprises a sheath and end bodies which are connected to the sheath on the end sides. Sheath and end bodies are braced with respect to one another by a bracing element. For use in the case of uncut cables, the sheath and the end bodies are made up of half-shells which are adhesively bonded to one another at their separating plane.
