An attachment (120) adapted for use on a device (60) for melting and dispensing thermoplastic material having a thumb operated drive assembly (62) for driving a block (64) of thermoplastic material into the device (60). The attachment (120) comprises a lever (124) having an upper end (128) adapted for engagement with the driver assembly (62) and a lower end pivotably attached to a collar (122) adapted to be releasably attached to a handle (26a) of the device (60). With the attachment (120) in place, a user can squeeze the lever (124) toward the handle (26a) with his hand to dispense the thermoplastic material. |
