Novel process for the effect dyeing of wool or blends of wool with other textile fibres by partial reservation of coloured or undyed wool with an impregnating liquor containing sulphamic acid or derivatives thereof, subsequent fixation and dyeing, characterised in that the impregnating liquor contains 25 to 100 g of sulphamic acid or derivatives thereof per 1000 g of impregnating liquor.
