Guided for displacement in a hollow profiled rail (5) is a flexible and endless pulling member (1) which meshes with a drive wheel mounted on one end of the rail (5). The pulling member (1) comprises cylindrical bodies (2) which are fixed on steel strand cords (3). Between the bodies (2) there are apertures (4) engaged by teeth of the driving wheel and projections on a connecting element. The pulling member (1) can be produced in one operation by an injection moulding process. With the curtain pulling means according to the invention, it is also possible to achieve long runs having a plurality of curves and carrying heavy curtain fabrics. <IMAGE>
