PURPOSE:To obtain the image of the title material by scanning and exposing the photosensitive material with a He-Ne laser, and then rapidly developing it by specifying the average particle size of a monodispersive silver halide emulsion, the average particle size of the total silver halide particles and the coated amount of silver contd. in the silver halide emulsion, respectively, and by incorporating a sensitizing dye in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the monodispersive silver halide emulsion has the particle size of >=0.7mum, and at least one kind of the emulsion has a smaller average particle size than said average particle size, and the average particle size of the total silver halide particles is 0.33-0.54mum, and the coated amount of the silver contd. in the silver halide emulsion is 2.3-3.8g/m<2>. And, the sensitizing dye shown by formula I is incorporated in the photosensitive material. In formula I, Z and Z1 are each a nonmetal atomic group necessary for completing a thiazole or a benzothiazole nucleus, etc., R0 is 1-6C alkyl or allyl group, etc., R and R1 are each alkyl or aryl group, L, L1 and L2 are each methine group, (m) is 0 or 1. Thus, the photosensitive material which is capable of the rapid development processing and effecting a good image observation and is usable for a light source of the He-Ne laser, is obtd.
