<p>PURPOSE:To correctly read a head signal and to cause a magnetic tape device to be suitable for vehicle mounting by absorbing the difference of expansion and contraction quantity in a guide board surface direction based on the difference of a thermal expansion coefficient between the supporting stand of a mounting means, which constitutes the tape device, and a guide board and causing the inclination of the revolving surface of a magnetic head and the guide board to be constant to a temperature change. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 15 is led out of a cassette case, which is not shown in a figure, by guide rods 14a-14d and guide rod supporting bodies 16a and 16b are respectively moved along guide holes 17a and 17b. Then, for the tape 15, a magnetic head 10 is abutted to a revolving drum 9 and a fixed drum 11. In such a condition, when a surrounding temperature is changed, any change is not generated in mounting parts 17c and 19a since they are mutually fixed and mounted. However, in mounting parts 17d and 19b, since the thermal expansion coefficient of a supporting body 19 is larger than that of the guide board 17, the mounting parts 17d and 19b are moved only by the portion of thermal expansion. Accordingly, a fitting angle theta for the revolving surface of the head 10 and the guide part 17 is not changed even when the temperature rises up or falls down. Thus, the exact recording or reproducing of the signal can be executed.</p> |
