PURPOSE:To form a high-dielectric constant porcelain with good reproducibility by mixing barium carbonate, titanium oxide and tantalum oxide or mixing and temporarily calcining them, mixing barium carbonate, tin oxide and manganese dioxide or mixing and temporarily calcining them, and temporarily calcining, molding and calcining the mixed powder or temporarily calcined powder obtained in the respective processes. CONSTITUTION:Barium carbonate, titanium oxide and tantalum oxide are mixed in the first process, the mixture is temporarily calcined at the proper temperature to obtain barium titanate containing tantalum oxide. Barium carbonate, tin oxide and manganese dioxide are sufficiently mixed in the second process, the mixture is temporarily calcined at the proper temperature to obtain barium stannate containing manganese dioxide. The barium titanate containing tantalum oxide obtained in the first process and the barium stannate containing manganese dioxide obtained in the second process are mixed and temporarily calcined at the proper temperature. The final temporarily calcined powder thus obtained is cracked, molded and calcined. A high-dielectric constant porcelain can be thereby obtained with good reproducibility. |
