<p>The aim of the present invention are processes and appliances for detecting and recognising impact by measuring the impedance variation.
<??>This appliance is connected to an external electronic system (10) which continuously measures the impedance of the sensor (6). After a learning period, the electronic system records the impedance of the quiescent appliance, from the time when an arbitrary effect (9) is exercised on the appliance, the impedance of the appliance varies with a certain rate, the system can then detect the derivative of the rate of variation of impedance or depending on the application the pure variation of impedance and transmit a signal to the user (16).
<??>The sensor (6) consists of a flexible envelope (3), protecting two flexible or otherwise layers (1 and 2) of electrically conducting materials in contact or otherwise with one another, at which arrive the electrical contacts (7) themselves connected by way of electrical conducting wires (4) to the external electronic system (10).
