发明名称 METHOD FOR ALLOCATING DEPTH BUFFER AND COLOR BUFFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain memory access without suspending the forming operation of picture element data by sectioning a pixel buffer having plural pixels and respective memory devices respectively into plural areas including coordinate value storing areas and allocating the picture element area of each plane to each divided area. CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that drawing command data for commanding the execution of recessed face processing and sectioning processing are being formed from a drawing processor 1. Under said status, color data I are formed by a digital differential analyzer (DDA) 21 synchronously with the forming operation of (x) and (y) data by the DDA 21. Depth coordinate value (z) data are also formed by the DDA 23. Respective data are supplied to color, (z) and sectioning buffers 3, 4, 4' respectively through pixel buffers 5. A write control signal (z) flag corresponding to the combination of flags formed by the buffers 4, 4' is also supplied to the buffer 3. Thereby, I data depending upon the z flag are written and image data obtained by recessed face processing and sectioning processing can be formed.
