<p>PURPOSE:To reset a microcomputer with a resetting instruction when an instruction jumps into a ROM area due to microcomputer runaway by writing the resetting instruction, for example, in the ROM area where the instruction never enters in a normal sequence. CONSTITUTION:Since a resetting circuit 2 can output a resetting signal 4 by a control signal 9 from an instruction decoder 7, by executing the instruction to output the signal 9, a microcomputer 1 can be made into a reset condition. The instruction to reset the microcomputer 1 is written into a ROM 5, when the sequence advances to the instruction, the instruction to reset the microcomputer 1 is outputted from the ROM 5, and the instruction enters into an instruction decoder 7. Since the instruction means to 'reset the microcomputer', the decoder 7 outputs the signal 9. By 9 outputting the signal 9, the circuit 2 outputs the signal 4, and the microcomputer 1 is made into the reset condition.</p> |
