PURPOSE:To enhance a photosensitive body in storage stability for a long period by incorporating a hydroquinone derivative and an organic phosphite compound in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer of said photosensitive body contains the hydroquinone derivative such as 2,5-di-t-butylhydroquinone as an antioxidant, and the organic phosphite compound such as tris(2,4-di-t-butylphenyl)phosphite for preventing deterioration of said hydroquinone derivative, and it is preferred to use for the photosensitive body a trisazo pigment of formula I or the like as an electric charge generating material and a compound of formula II as a charge transfer material, and in formulas I and II, A is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group; each of R<1> and R<4> is H, alkyl or the like; each of R<2> and R<3> is H, phenyl, or the like; X is an atomic group necessary to form a desired ring; (n) is 0 or 1; and (m) is 0-3. |
