PURPOSE:To enhance the agitating efficiency for electrolyte by putting a small hole formed in the side wall of a cylinder in its position above the bottom of a gas collecting device in communication with an opening, arranged in the upper part of the gas collecting device, through a syphon strap in the inverted U form. CONSTITUTION:A hollow cylinder 4 for pumping the electrode is arranged between a group of electrode plates 1 and the inner wall of battery jar 2, and a small hole 5 of gas send-in hole furnished in the upper part (a little above the bottom of a gas collecting device) of this hollow cylinder 4 is situated above the bottom of the gas collecting device. Therein an opening 7 is furnished in the upper part of gas collecting device 6 in inverted tray form arranged in the electrolyte 3 above the group of electrodes 1 and put in communication with the abovementioned small hole 5 through a syphon strap 8 in inverted U form. This enables efficient agitation of the electrolyte in simple structure. |
