PURPOSE:To position optical fibers with high accuracy and to connect a plug to the fibers by arranging the optical fibers exposed on an arranging member positioned by a pitch correcting member, fitting a press plate thereto and adhering the members. CONSTITUTION:Guide pins 3 are inserted to the arranging member 1 and the pins 3 are inserted into guide pin insertion slits 23 of the arranging pitch collecting member 20, by which both are positioned. The fiber insertion grooves 1a of the arranging member 1 and the optical fibers exposed in the insertion slits 22 of the correcting part 20 are inserted and the arranging pitch of the optical fibers is corrected to the prescribed intervals. The adhesive agent is injected in this state onto the arranging member 1 and the press member 2 is fitted and adhered thereto. As a result, the connector plug consisting of the arranging member 1 and the press member 2 is connected to the tape fibers 4 while the optical fibers are positioned with high accuracy. |
