CONTROL DEVICE OF SPEED CHANGE SHIFT LEVER FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To simpify construction of a device and facilitate its handling, by obtaining a prescribed locus with combination between circular arc motion and linear motion. CONSTITUTION:A speed change shift lever 2 is controlled to a shift direction by changing the linear motion of a driving source to the circular arc motion of a control arm 3 in the direction of arrow heads 8 through a shifting push pull wire 5. While a selecting push pull wire 6 transmits linear motion of a power source to the arm 3 as the linear motion in the direction of arrow heads 9 through a slide block 4 to control the lever 2 to the selecting direction. Then the circular arc motion in the shifting direction and the linear motion in the selecting direction are combined to obtain a locus of the speed change shift lever.
