The injection syringe comprises a reservoir on which the needle is mounted and a plunger which can be pushed into the reservoir. The plunger is on rod which are connected together by a joint allowing a limited mutual movement of both parts. There is also a locking device with the joint only permits the plunger to be pulled up once. The joint is in form of a straight pipe with a limited internal length over which a guide knob can be pushed. The rod extends through a hole in one end of the chamber inside the pipe. The locking mechanism comprises an elastic barb (13) pushed through a narrow section of the reservoir.
