PURPOSE:To obtain the title device capable of steaming bivalves in closed shells, by equipping the interior of a cylinder with a steam jetting pipe, a conveyor for bivalves and a conveyor for preventing bivalves from opening their shells. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a cylinder 1 is equipped with a steam feed pipe 3 having a large number of steam jetting holes and a conveyor 2 for bivalves is set through the interior. Further, a conveyor 4 for preventing bivalves from opening their valves is set from an initial position of steam jetting to a desired position along the conveyor 2 for bivalves in the interior of the cylinder 1.
