<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject kneading liquid capable of controlling the size of a curing-expanded silica product and the strength of the tissue thereof, by simultaneously employing colloidal silica fine particles and colloidal silica particles having large particle sizes in specified particle size distributions and concentrations. CONSTITUTION:A liquid for kneading phosphate salt-embedded materials for casting dental articles is characterized by containing colloidal silica wherein (A) colloidal silica having particle sizes of >=20mum, preferably 20-100mum, and (B) colloidal silica having particle sizes of <20mum, preferably 10-20mum, are simultaneously employed in an A/B ratio of 5-95/95-5wt.% and the concentration of SiO2 in the colloidal silica is controlled to 1-30wt.%, thereby employing the colloidal silica having the large particle sizes as one part of the kneading liquid. The prepared kneading liquid can give a curing-expanding degree approximately 2 times higher than conventional ones, give an arbitrarily reduced curing- expanding degree by being diluted and form an embedded material having excellent decomposability.</p> |
