<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance, inspection and exchange only by detaching a steering wheel by providing a driven portion driven by an output shaft of an electric motor and a steering torque detecting portion on a boss portion of the steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:A driven portion 16 provided on a boss portion 4 of a steering wheel 3 is driven by an output shaft 15a of an electric motor 15 disposed in a position offset from a steering shaft 2. In the section of the boss portion 4, a little larger notch 34 is formed between notches 24 and 31, and a steering torque detector 37 comprising a resistance wire 35 and a slider 36 is disposed therein. The electric motor 15 is operated according to the steering torque detected by the steering torque detecting portion 37.</p> |
