PURPOSE:To secure starting stability of a vehicle on a low mu road by correcting a steering ratio characteristic in a four-wheel steering device to the running stable side of a vehicle when a traction control device is operated. CONSTITUTION:As excessive slip is caused in front wheels when a vehicle runs on a low mu road, a controller 130 of a braking control device conducts traction control to prevent slip. Previously to the traction control, a signal is output from the controller 130 to a controller 60 for four-wheel steering control. In the controller 130, traction operation detecting means 64 receive an output signal from the controller 130 for braking control to detect that the braking control device is in the course of traction control operation, and a correction command signal is output from correction means 65 adapted to receive a signal from detecting means 64 to steering ratio setting means 63. |
