<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive GETTO (ALPINIA SPECIOSA K. SCHUM) essential oil-absorbed insecticidal body having high insect-proof, insecticidal and germicidal effects and applicable for various uses, by subjecting the essential oil of the GETTO extracted from the GETTO to an adsorbing, mixing or dispersing treatment on a carrier. CONSTITUTION:The essential oil of GETTO extracted from the GETTO is subjected to an adsorbing, mixing or dispersing treatment on a carrier comprising a sheet material such as pape or cloth, diatomaceous earth, alumina, acid clay, woodmeal, kaolin, bentonite, active carbon, silica, various synthetic resins, etc., to provide the insecticidal body applicable for various uses, because the insecticidal body is stable, inexpensive, extremely readily producible and non- poisonous against men and beasts, exhibits excellent insect-proof, insecticidal and germicidal effects and is also useful as a good aromatic material. When adsorbed on the carrier, the essential oil is preferably diluted with a solvent into a concentration of <=2%, especially <=1%.</p> |
