PURPOSE:To improve the insertion easiness and operability with respect to the body cavity, by inclining the center of the rotary shaft of an ultrasonic vibrator with respect to the center of an insert shaft. CONSTITUTION:An illumination lens 3, an objective lens system 4, an air and water feed nozzle 5 and a suction port 6 are provided to the leading end hard part 2 provided to the leading end 1 of an insert part and an ultrasonic vibrator 7 is provided to the leading end of the leading end hard part 2. The rotary body 8 for rotating the ultrasonic vibrator 7 is arranged so that the center-of- rotation axis B thereof is inclined by an angle theta in a direction wherein the objective lens system 4 is not arranged with respect to the center A of the insert shaft of an endoscope. A leading end cover 9 filled with an ultrasonic transmitting medium is provided around the rotary body 8. |
