<p>PURPOSE: To gradually tighten a slip tape around a plurality of layers preimpregnated with a synthetic material by providing a form for receiving one relatively short side of the tape surrounding a layer preimpregnated with an untreated synthetic material and moving it in a lengthwise direction of the tape. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus 20 having a form 22 and a holding means 24 tightens a slip tape around a member ER blank 18, and forms an L-shaped lengthwise member blank 18. A recess 17 of the blank 18 is opposed to an upper surface 26 of the form 22. The means 24 is elastically forced to an upper surface of the blank 18 to deal with a shape of the form 22. In this state, when the blank 18 is moved along the apparatus 20 from a leading end 28 toward a trailing end 30, cross sectional forces of holding members 38, 36 to the blank 18 are increased. Thus, before the blank 18 is guided to a pultrusion die, the tape 12 generates a slip tape-enclosed, and the layer 10 is tightened so that the blank 18 becomes a desired shape.</p> |
