PURPOSE: To largely save a time by clamping wooden articles at the same clamping bench to execute all machining operations, moving the bench, fixing it to a machining operation bench, executing machining operations at the articles, conducting all the operations, and removing the articles from the clamping bench. CONSTITUTION: Wooden articles 15 are clamped at a machining bench 6 by clamping devices 11, 12 of a charging unit 1. A machining tool 2 machines wooden articles 16, which are placed on a machining bench 7, and clamped by clamping devices 13, 14. Similarly, a machining tool 3 machines wooden articles 17, which are placed on a clamping bench 8, and clamped by a clamping device. When machining operations are completed by the tools 2 to 5, clamping devices corresponding to the devices 11, 12 for the bench 6 are operated at a machining place, brought into contact with the articles to clamp the articles, and then the devices 13, 14 are removed. The bench having the devices 11, 12 is moved to dispose the articles 15 at the vicinity of the tool 2, and the articles 16 can be disposed near the tool 3. When the articles are arrived, first the benches 6, 7, 8 and 9 are fixed to machining operation places 25, 26, 27. |
