PURPOSE:To enable drain to be stably utilized for humidifying room air at the time of a heating operation by pumping up drain from an exterior drain pan by a drain sprinkler, and sprinkling the pumped-up drain alternatively onto an upper part of an exterior heat exchanger at the time of a cooling operation or onto an upper part of a drain evaporator at the time of the heating operation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a cooling operation, a first solenoid valve 37 is opened, whereas a second solenoid valve 38 is closed. Therefore, drain is sprinkled onto an upper part of an exterior heat exchanger 7 through a first sprinkling pipe 39, whereby a major portion of the drain is evaporated to be discharged to the exterior together with the outside air. At the time of a heating operation, the first solenoid valve 37 is closed, whereas the second solenoid valve 38 is opened, so that the drain is sprinkled onto an upper part of a drain evaporator 31 through a second sprinkling pipe 40. The drain adsorbed on a drain-evaporating plate 20 of the drain evaporator 31 is evaporated by hot air, and is blown off into a room while humidifying room air. |
