<p>PURPOSE:To treat a large amount of gas by disposing rotary cylinder bodies through which the gas to be treated is flowed, radially around a center axis so as to be allowed to rotate around the center axis, and scooping up and spraying slurry with lifters while the cylinder bodies are rotated. CONSTITUTION:The shape in which the gas to be treated is brought into contact with the slurry of desulfurizing agent is the plural cylinder bodies 5-1, 5-2 horizontally disposed so as to be rotatable around the axis, and one ends of cylinder bodies are the inlet of the gas to be treated disposed with a disk 7 and the other ends are outlet. And, the lifters 6 are provided to the one ends of cylinder bodies as slurry supplying means and the other ends are used as discharge sides, and the gas to be treated is brought into contact with the desulfurizing slurry in counter flow or in parallel flow. The lifters 6 are moved along the circle having the same distance from the rotation axis and scoops the slurry at a slurry supplying vessel 9 in the bottom part, and the slurry is sprayed through pipes on the packing material for gas-liquid contact in the cylinder bodies while the lifters are raised.</p> |
