<p>PURPOSE:To realize an autotracking function without necessity of an adjusting volume by constituting the subject device with a specific control means. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a cylinder motor 2 for driving one pair of rotary heads 8 and 9, a capstan motor 6, a microprocessor 10, a 1st driving circuit 12, a 2nd driving circuit 13 and detector circuits 15 and 17 for peak-detecting a regenerative envelope signal which is obtained from the rotary heads 8 and 9 and then amplified by amplifier circuits 14 and 16. In addition, a switch circuit 18 for selecting the output of the detector circuit 15 when a sound signal is not recorded or the level of the sound signal is not more than a fixed value and the output of the detector circuit 17 when the sound signal is recorded respectively and a comparator 19 are provided to constitute the device as a whole. By this method, the autotracking function with no necessity of a tracking adjustment volume can be realized.</p> |
