PURPOSE:To check a variation in a magnetic gap due to a change in temperature, by bonding and fixing a retaining member and a supporting body by means of a first bonding agent in the vicinity of a magnetic sensor fitting surface and by means of a second bonding agent being softer than the former in a separated part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic sensor 20 and a magnetic drum 17 are adjusted to be at proper positions of a magnetic gap, and a second bonding agent 24 is filled up and set in a part of contact of a presser plate 22 with a sensor retainer 21, so as to fix the retainer 21 to a housing 13. Meanwhile, a first bonding agent 31 is filled up and set in a part of contact of the lower end of a fitting surface 21a with the housing 13, so as to fix the retainer 21. Within the range of a working temperature, the material of the bonding agent 24 is made softer and more elastic than that of the bonding agent 31. When a temperature changes, accordingly, the amount of extension of the housing 13 being larger than those of the retainer 21 and the presser plate 22 is absorbed by the elasticity of the bonding agent 24 and the fitting surface 21a does not shift in relation to the housing 13. Thereby a variation in the magnetic gap due to the change in temperature can be checked. |
