<p>PURPOSE:To surely charge dust contained in air and to make a structure simple by forming the blades of a fan of an electrically-conductive material connected with the earth and providing a plurality of electric discharge needles insulated from the blades in the center of the fan and making the fan itself an electric discharge device. CONSTITUTION:The air sucked by a fan 12 is introduced into a main body 11 through the suction ports 24 and passed through the fan 12. In this cases since high voltage is impressed between the electric discharge needles 14 and the blades 16, electric discharge is performed toward the blades 16 from the electric discharge needles 14 and electric charge is given to dust contained in the air passed through the fan 12. When the sucked air contg. dust charged with electric charge is passed through an electrified filter 23, dust is attracted thereon and only clean air is discharged through the exhaust ports 25. Since both the fan 12 sucking air and the electric discharge device are integrated by such a way, the structure of the whole body is made compact and further electric charge can be surely given to dust by performing electric discharge while rotating the electric discharge needles 14 and the blades 16.</p> |
