The continuously working filter is for concentrating suspensions and comprises a housing with an inlet and outlet for the suspension. There is also a filter part and an outlet for a part of the liq. from the suspension. The filter is formed by a stationary circular cylindrical filter surface inside which, a rotor is located, comprising blades open on both the inside and outside. The supply and discharge of the suspension are fitted in a pipe joining on respective axial ends of the blades. The suspension supply joins the space in the filter surface via a narrow annular slit. The blades are rigidly connected to parallel conical surfaces and a cone is mounted in the hollow inner chamber of the rotor partly extending over the rotor blades.
