A tunnel kiln for firing unfired moulded ceramic products comprises a door making it possible to allow a kiln wagon 11 to enter the kiln and to get it back out again. The door, located at the low temperature parts of the kiln comprises lateral walls 1 produced from stainless steel and having inclined surfaces and a ceiling 2 made from stainless steel and having surfaces inclined towards the lateral walls. The tunnel kiln further includes sand joints 7 at the level of the joins between the lateral walls and the ceiling and receiving bases 8 made under the lower ends of the lateral walls for receiving the products which have been decomposed by pyrolysis. The lateral walls are formed so as to present discharge orifices 9 which communicate with the reception bases so that the products which have been decomposed by pyrolyis and are flowing along the inclined surfaces of the ceiling and of the lateral walls are gathered at the reception bases and let out through the discharge orifices 9 in the side walls outside the kiln. By virtue of this arrangement, the production of faults in ceramic products, which faults would be due to decomposed products fixing on them, is entirely eliminated. <IMAGE>
