PURPOSE:To send an information packet with a different size independently of the size of an information packet by generating a synchronizing packet by a synchronizing packet generating means and sending the packet in the transmission timing decided by a synchronizing packet timing variable means. CONSTITUTION:Communication stations are connected respectively via a transmission line 110 and a time slot of a fixed length is assigned to the transmission line 110. The synchronizing packet of a pattern is generated by a synchronizing packet generating means 103 in the assignment of the time slot. A control section 102 uses a timing generating section 106 so as to generate a timing sent to a packet transmission reception section 104 in the synchronizing packet generated by a synchronizing packet generating section 108. Even if the size of the information packet desired to be sent differs, the timing is taken by using the synchronizing packet timing variable means in this way. |
