<p>A cutting mechanism includes a frame, e.g of four box girders (2,4) welded at right angles to each other. Each girder accommodates a movable chisel. The chisel edges surround e.g a square concrete pick (39). Adjustable cylinders (7) move the chisels (8) to penetrate and cut the centrally positioned pile.
