PURPOSE:To obtain the subject gold and silver yarn having excellent durability and color-developing property by coating a transparent plastic film successively with a transparent resin undercoating layer, a resin layer and a transparent resin top-coating layer in the order and slitting the laminated film. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a transparent plastic film (preferably having a thickness of 6-50mum) is coated successively with (A) a transparent resin undercoating layer 2 having uneven thickness (preferably 0.1-1mum), (B) a resin layer 3 mixed with fine powder of zinc sulfide (preferably having particle diameter of 0.1-1mum) and (C) a layer 4 of the resin A in the order and the resultant laminated film is slit to obtain the objective gold and silver yarn. The thickness of the layer A and the layer B is most preferably 0.02-3mum each. |
