The invention relates to a device for locking a lock in a housing, of the type comprising a locking strip seated in a recess of the stator of the lock and comprising a projection passing through a hole in the housing; the rotor comprises a radial recess which, in an angular position of the rotor different from the locking position, is opposite a heel of the strip opposite the projection. The invention is characterised in that the strip 3 tilts and is returned into the locking position by a spring 9; a curved leaf spring 10 is anchored in the stator 2 so as to form the tilting axis of the strip 3, and its free end 12 cooperates with the strip 3 in the locking position of the lock in the housing 13. The invention is used in anti-theft steering-wheel locks for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
