SUCTION FRICTIONAL SPINNING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To promote the suction of short fibers on the outer circumference of a perforated drum by using a non-porous drum having smaller diameter than a perforated drum and making the length of the wall length of a short fiber-ejection port to be longer at the side of the non-porous drum than at the perforated drum side. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter r1 of a non-porous drum 1 is made to be smaller than the outer diameter R of a perforated drum 2. The wall surface 4l of a feeding duct 4 at the side of the non-porous drum 1 is extended beyond the wall surface 4r at the side of the perforated drum 2 toward a slit 3a. An ejection port 4b is opened toward the slit 3a in the perforated drum 2. Short fibers are sucked on a restricted narrow range on the surface of the perforated drum 2 and are smoothly transferred to the position of the slit 3a.
